OMG! Deadline for FASHEST is tomorrow!

So how do you like my new logo? I've been madly getting all the loose ends tied up to send in my application for FASHFEST.

This is as much information as I'm going to release at this stage....stay tuned!

SOOO EXCITED !!

FASHFEST 2014 is Canberra Australia's fashion week event which will be held from 30 April to 3 May. The deadline for applications closes in 3 days.....and I AM SUPER EXCITED! I'm not going to post any sneak peeks of my collection yet....it's a surprise! Needless to say, I've been hard at work getting everything together.

This much I can tell you....be on the look-out for lots of colour and very wearable outfits. I'm featuring a few handbags and accessories too!

Re-Loved: Re-Vamped Collection by Hanny-d

These shots were taken at the National Botanic Gardens in Canberra for the Re-Loved: Re-Vamped fashion parade publicity. Each piece is a one-off creation. Our gorgeous model is Kristi Dewar.

As always, the fabrics chosen for this collection were sourced either from remnants or existing garments. The accessories were all created using 100% upcycled materials including all the hardware.

Hello!! I'm BACK!

I've been absent for a while but back on-line with lots of things happening! I'm preparing my application to become one of the designers at a four day fashion extravaganza to be held here in Canberra from 30 April to 3 May, FASHFEST 2014.

I'm so excited about this fabulous opportunity to show my creations to a large audience and show the public what can be achieved using re-purposed resources. The competition is fierce so fingers crossed!
