This large tote in black and white mesh with sturdy black vinyl straps has a "scrunchie" style flap with a magnetic clasp to hold the top open. The bag is reinforced with a double outer shell and inner gusset as well as a funky decorative black/off-white printed lining.
The inside has two pockets, one of them zippered for extra security, and a reinforced base as well as a base board to help keep it in shape.
This great tote is hand-washable using a mild soap in lukewarm water. All the materials used in this wonderful bag are 100% re-purposed.

This beautiful bag is sourced from upcycled leather. All the hardware including clasp and rings have been recycled. The dark chocolate leather came from a coat. Here I've used both sides of the chocolate to achieve a slightly different texture and contrast. The green suede was originally a handbag that I cut up and turned inside-out to show off the stitching.
The shell of the black leather bag was once a man's coat. The strap came from a beautiful vintage embossed leather belt. All the hardward has also been recycled. The top of the bag has a recessed zipper. The inside is fully lined and has several deep pockets. The whole bag has been reinforced and has a removable inner base gusset.
